Sani-Pass
Two days trip
These motorbike trips are especially compiled for travel with
off the road motorbikes. It can be done alone in the company of a guide or in a group.
As always the amount of experience of the travellers will be taken in
consideration.
This trip consists out of 3 nights
and 2 days
On friday afternoon you have to check in
at Wildebeest Camp and there we will do the briefing and you will get your
motorbike and all your motorgear. You will stay over at Wildebeest Camp.
Day 1
On saturday we start early, a drive of 300 km from
Wildebeest Camp to Oliviershoekpas, Bergville, Mooirivier, to Himeville; a small town adjacent
to the Central Drakensberg. In Himeville we fill up pretrol and from there we will leave for Lesotho,
Sani Pass to Sani top chalet (2865 m), we have to cross the South-African
border before 4 pm, base camp at Sani Top Chalets.
Day 2
Start at Sani top (2865 m) we drive to
Mokhotlong, Mapholaneng, Tlaeeng pass (3255 m), Moteng pass, Butha-Buthe,
Coledonspoort, Clarens and back to Harrismith. This is a trip of
approx. 300 km. You will again stay over at Wildebeest Camp to leave for
home next day
Things to remember
You need a valid passpoort for this trip
and if you are travelling in winter, termal underwear is recommended.
Please bring your own towels.
